Bufflehead (BUFF)

I hadn’t even heard of these before seeing them on our trip to Biddeford Pool! The white tuft and shape of the darker feathers is identifiable

Common Goldeneye (COGO)

Identifiable by that bright yellow eye!

Red-breasted Merganser (RBME)

What a funky looking bird! The long red bill and crazy hair are pretty distinct!

Wild turkey (WITU)

Another one I’m always excited to see in the field! They are very unique looking!

American Woodcock (AMWO)

MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE BIRD- FINALLY 😀 they have a very distinct plump body shape and looong beak. I love their little noises!
